No Feelings

Posted by John Lydon on his web site: The official announcement from the Sex Pistols regarding their induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame:

I LOVE IT. God Save The Queen!

The Pistols in 2003 was one of the best original lineup / reunion shows I've ever seen. Of course, Music Geeks know this was the band's return to S.F. for the first time since the final show at Winterland with Sid in 1978. Rather cool IMO.

The Pistols came out and were just themselves: Aging, overweight Englishmen!! They made absolutely no effort to pander to the Hot Topic Punk image.. Which was THE most Punk thing they could have done!

Lydon was wearing baggy yellow pants, but was just as sneering as his legend. Steve Jones looked like an old soccer hooligan taking a break from his stool at the pub. It was GREAT.. AND they sounded fookin' gleat! The crowd was WAY into it as well, which Lydon acknowledged a couple of nights later during the band's appearance on The Jimmy Kimmel Show. During his interview segment, Lydon looked at the camera and said "Thank you San Francisco.." Rather cool IMO.
