Umlaut has known Dana of Bee and Flower since the first term of the Reagan Administration (!)... Now, here in the 21st Century, Bee and Flower are heading back out on The Road:

Hmm, Umlaut missed this the first time 'round: Back in December Timeout London ran a profile of Bee and Flower that began with the spit take, attention grabbing paragraph:

"When Dana Schechter was 12, she and her sister would go to heavy metal shows. Two small girls getting crushed down the front with the headbangers, they were, she emphasises, ‘Music fans, never groupies’. In 1982, they met the fledgling Metallica, and Schechter struck up a strong friendship with bassist Cliff Burton."
