SLADE AND TSR!?
Yes, it sucks that most people are unaware that Quiet Riot's biggest hits in the 80's were Slade covers... but at least Noddy Holder & Co. probably made some good cash off the royalties (I hope so). For the newbies: Slade are one of the quintessential English bands and, thankfully, Oasis covered 'Cum On Feel The Noize' to reclaim it back from Quiet Riot for The Queen and Country.
I know one member of the Umlaut Nation has a story about interviewing Slade for his college newspaper back in the 70's... You know who you are. It would be really cool if you recounted your tale for this space (hint hint)... No pressure.. but I'm just saying it would be really cool if you did.. To quote Slade: "Get down and get with it!"
