Just in time for Summer, Umlaut friend and former law enforcement officer Karen offered a tip to beat the heat if you're wearing a KEVLAR bulletproof vest:
The night before you're due to slave in the hot sun, put your vest in the freezer. KEVLAR will retain the cold for a decent amount of time.
When you're ready to venture out into the mean streets of Summer, your KEVLAR will protect you from bullets, shivs, AND (at least for awhile) the heat.
